WQB Mold Removal started the way most good local contracting outfits do: with a small crew that got tired of watching homeowners in Wellesley Hills, MA get quoted twice for the same job by companies that vanished halfway through.
Every technician we send to a Wellesley Hills property carries current IICRC-aligned training, a containment kit, and a moisture meter — not just a spray bottle and a smile.
Licensed, insured, and background-checked before they ever knock on your door, our team treats your home like it's the one they'd want worked on.
A lot of Wellesley Hills, MA homeowners have already paid someone once for a job that didn't hold up, which is part of why we document every step with photos and lab data rather than asking you to take our word for it.
Our office staff handle scheduling and billing questions directly, so you're never stuck on hold with an answering service when you have a question about your job.
Not every mold problem announces itself with a visible black patch on the ceiling.
If a room smells like a wet basement no matter how much you air it out, mold is the most likely culprit. Our technicians can often narrow down the general location just from where the odor is strongest before ever opening a wall.
Any Wellesley Hills property with a prior roof leak, burst pipe, or flooding event is at higher risk if the drying wasn't done professionally. We can check behind an old repair with a moisture meter in under an hour to put your mind at ease either way.
Sneezing, coughing, or headaches that improve when you leave the house and return when you're back inside are a classic mold indicator. Air quality testing can confirm or rule out mold as the cause before you spend money chasing the wrong culprit.
Discoloration around an HVAC vent frequently means moisture is condensing inside the ductwork itself. Don't assume a small visible patch means a small problem — the portion behind the drywall is often much larger.
From a single bathroom to a flooded crawl space, our Wellesley Hills crews scale the response to match the actual problem.
When a burst pipe or roof failure floods a Wellesley Hills property overnight, our on-call crew can be dispatched before the sun comes up. Extraction equipment and industrial dehumidifiers go in immediately to slow the moisture before it ever has a chance to seed a new colony.
Once remediation is complete, we run post-remediation verification testing so you have documentation the job actually worked. We'll also flag any structural repair the job needs and put you in touch with a trusted Wellesley Hills tradesperson if it's outside our scope.
We provide documentation packages commercial clients can hand directly to insurers or tenants. We're comfortable working evenings or weekends on commercial jobs when that's what keeps a Wellesley Hills business running without interruption.
Lab results typically come back within a few business days, giving you documented proof of what was found. A written inspection report is available for real estate transactions, refinancing, or your own peace of mind about a Wellesley Hills property.
These tight spaces require specialized equipment and technicians trained to work safely in confined areas. We often find the crawl space is the real source of a musty smell upstairs, even in Wellesley Hills homes where the visible living space looks perfectly clean.
Sealing, grading corrections, and ventilation upgrades often prevent the exact conditions that caused the original problem. Some Wellesley Hills, MA clients set up an annual moisture check with us, especially in older homes with a history of basement dampness.
We keep the process simple enough to explain over the phone in under two minutes.
Tell our dispatcher what you're seeing and smelling, and we'll get a technician on the calendar, often same-day for Wellesley Hills addresses. Have a rough sense of when the problem started if you can — it helps us plan the visit.
We walk the property with a moisture meter and, when needed, take air or surface samples for lab analysis. You'll get a plain-language explanation of what we found before any decisions get made.
Containment barriers go up first, then affected materials are removed, treated, and HEPA-vacuumed according to industry protocol. Daily progress updates are available if you're not on-site during the work.
You'll get a written report you can keep for your records or share with an insurer. We'll also walk the space with you so nothing gets signed off without your input.
Our estimates are itemized line by line, which means you know exactly what you're paying for and why.
We keep a dedicated crew covering Wellesley Hills, MA so response times don't balloon during peak humidity season.
We hand you lab results and a written scope of work, giving you something concrete beyond our word.
And if something doesn't sit right after we leave, our satisfaction guarantee means we come back and make it right at no extra charge.
Plenty of companies will happily bill you for remediation on a repeat basis without ever mentioning the actual leak feeding the problem, and that's simply not how we operate in Wellesley Hills, MA.
Local reputation matters more to a small Wellesley Hills-area crew than a national franchise ever has to worry about, and that keeps us honest about scope, pricing, and timelines.
We stand behind every remediation job with a written guarantee, not just a handshake, because your peace of mind matters as much as the finished work.

The questions we hear before nearly every job.
Most Wellesley Hills calls get a technician on-site the same day, and active emergencies are prioritized ahead of routine inspections. Weekend and holiday calls are still answered by our on-call dispatcher rather than routed to voicemail.
We quote the full scope up front after inspection, and that number doesn't change unless the scope does. We're happy to walk through the line items with you over the phone before you commit to anything.
Emergency dispatch is available 24/7 for situations where waiting even a day could worsen the damage. Emergency visits include temporary containment to keep the problem from spreading while the full remediation plan is put together.
We collect air or surface samples and send them to an independent lab for species identification and spore-count analysis. Knowing the species matters because some, like Stachybotrys, call for stricter containment protocols than common surface mildew.
Coverage depends on your policy and the cause of the moisture, so we recommend calling your insurer, and we can supply documentation to support a claim. We're glad to speak directly with your adjuster if that helps move your Wellesley Hills claim along faster.
Timeline depends on the square footage affected and whether structural materials need to be removed and replaced. Drying time after water extraction can add a day or two before remediation itself even starts, depending on how saturated the materials were.
Anyone with asthma or mold sensitivities may want to arrange alternate accommodations during larger jobs, and we'll advise based on scope. We'll always tell you honestly if we think you should stay elsewhere rather than downplay it to keep the job simpler on our end.
We recommend keeping children and pets away from the containment zone until the area passes clearance testing. Once we complete post-remediation testing and the numbers come back clean, the space is safe to use normally again.
Post-remediation testing confirms spore counts returned to normal, and our guarantee covers regrowth tied to our workmanship. We'll also give you practical advice on ventilation, dehumidifier use, or grading changes that can help prevent a repeat issue in your Wellesley Hills property.
Call +1-844-578-1604 to ask about current inspection options for your Wellesley Hills address, as availability can vary by season. Even a phone consultation before scheduling can help you understand whether what you're seeing warrants a visit.
"Removal" implies eliminating all mold entirely, which isn't realistic since spores exist naturally everywhere, while "remediation" means returning spore levels to a normal, safe range. What actually matters is whether your indoor levels match what's normal for outdoor air in Wellesley Hills, MA, and testing confirms that.
Surface cleaning with bleach may remove visible staining but rarely reaches spores embedded in porous materials like drywall or subfloor. For small, non-porous surfaces a simple cleaning may be fine, but anything on drywall, wood, or carpet usually needs a professional look.
