WQB Mold Removal started the way most good local contracting outfits do: with a small crew that got tired of watching homeowners in Wellesley Hills, MA get quoted twice for the same job by companies that vanished halfway through.
Our field techs are equipped with negative-air machines, HEPA filtration units, and borescopes for checking inside wall cavities without tearing the whole thing open unnecessarily.
Licensed, insured, and background-checked before they ever knock on your door, our team treats your home like it's the one they'd want worked on.
Our approach starts with a moisture map of the whole affected area, because treating one wall while an adjacent cavity keeps feeding the problem just means a return visit six months later.
Our office staff handle scheduling and billing questions directly, so you're never stuck on hold with an answering service when you have a question about your job.
Some of the worst colonization in Wellesley Hills homes happens somewhere you'd never think to check.
If a room smells like a wet basement no matter how much you air it out, mold is the most likely culprit. Our technicians can often narrow down the general location just from where the odor is strongest before ever opening a wall.
DIY drying with a box fan rarely reaches the moisture trapped inside wall cavities and subfloor. If a previous restoration job skipped moisture readings before closing the walls back up, hidden growth can sit undetected for months.
If symptoms clear up on vacation and come back the moment you're home in Wellesley Hills, your indoor air quality deserves a look. Air quality testing can confirm or rule out mold as the cause before you spend money chasing the wrong culprit.
By the time spotting is visible on a painted wall, the growth has usually been active for weeks already. Don't assume a small visible patch means a small problem — the portion behind the drywall is often much larger.
Every job starts with an inspection, not a guess, so the scope of work matches what's really growing behind your walls.
Active flooding and sewage backups get priority scheduling since the mold clock starts ticking almost immediately. We also photograph the damage extensively on arrival, which helps considerably if you end up filing an insurance claim afterward.
Once remediation is complete, we run post-remediation verification testing so you have documentation the job actually worked. We'll also flag any structural repair the job needs and put you in touch with a trusted Wellesley Hills tradesperson if it's outside our scope.
Our commercial crews coordinate with property managers on phased containment so parts of the building can stay operational during treatment. Multi-tenant properties in Wellesley Hills sometimes need coordinated notice to residents or staff, and our project leads handle that communication directly.
Buying a Wellesley Hills home? A pre-purchase mold inspection can catch problems a standard home inspection misses entirely. A written inspection report is available for real estate transactions, refinancing, or your own peace of mind about a Wellesley Hills property.
These tight spaces require specialized equipment and technicians trained to work safely in confined areas. We often find the crawl space is the real source of a musty smell upstairs, even in Wellesley Hills homes where the visible living space looks perfectly clean.
Sealing, grading corrections, and ventilation upgrades often prevent the exact conditions that caused the original problem. A small investment in prevention is almost always cheaper than paying for the same remediation twice.
We keep the process simple enough to explain over the phone in under two minutes.
A quick phone conversation helps us bring the right equipment on the first visit instead of a second trip. Have a rough sense of when the problem started if you can — it helps us plan the visit.
This step tells us the true scope of contamination before we write a single number on a quote. You'll get a plain-language explanation of what we found before any decisions get made.
Containment barriers go up first, then affected materials are removed, treated, and HEPA-vacuumed according to industry protocol. Daily progress updates are available if you're not on-site during the work.
You'll get a written report you can keep for your records or share with an insurer. We'll also walk the space with you so nothing gets signed off without your input.
We quote a flat rate before any work begins, so there's no surprise invoice waiting for you at the end.
We keep a dedicated crew covering Wellesley Hills, MA so response times don't balloon during peak humidity season.
We hand you lab results and a written scope of work, giving you something concrete beyond our word.
Our promise is simple: if the treated area shows regrowth tied to our workmanship within the warranty period, we return and correct it free of charge.
We also try to be upfront about what we can't fix on day one — if a Wellesley Hills home has an underlying roof or plumbing issue causing repeat moisture intrusion, we'll say so plainly instead of quietly re-treating the same spot every year.
Word of mouth is still how most of our Wellesley Hills, MA customers find us, which tells you something about how the last job usually goes.
If regrowth tied to our workmanship shows up within the warranty window, we come back to your Wellesley Hills property and fix it at no additional cost.

Answers to what Wellesley Hills homeowners ask us most.
Response time depends on scheduling load, but same-day or next-morning arrival is typical for Wellesley Hills, MA service areas. Weekend and holiday calls are still answered by our on-call dispatcher rather than routed to voicemail.
Yes — every job gets a flat-rate, itemized quote before any work begins, so there's no surprise invoice at the end. We're happy to walk through the line items with you over the phone before you commit to anything.
Our on-call crew handles active flooding, sewage backups, and sudden mold discovery around the clock, including nights and weekends. Emergency visits include temporary containment to keep the problem from spreading while the full remediation plan is put together.
We collect air or surface samples and send them to an independent lab for species identification and spore-count analysis. We'll walk you through what the lab report actually means in plain terms, not just hand you a page of Latin names.
Coverage depends on your policy and the cause of the moisture, so we recommend calling your insurer, and we can supply documentation to support a claim. Our detailed photo documentation and written scope of work are formatted to make the claims process as painless as possible.
A single bathroom or small closet can often be completed in a day, while larger crawl space or whole-home jobs may take three to five days. Drying time after water extraction can add a day or two before remediation itself even starts, depending on how saturated the materials were.
Anyone with asthma or mold sensitivities may want to arrange alternate accommodations during larger jobs, and we'll advise based on scope. Pets are usually fine staying in an unaffected part of the Wellesley Hills home, but we'll flag any exceptions during the walkthrough.
Our containment and air scrubbing protocols are designed to protect the rest of the household while work is underway. HEPA filtration during the job significantly reduces airborne spore counts outside the sealed work area.
Post-remediation testing confirms spore counts returned to normal, and our guarantee covers regrowth tied to our workmanship. We'll also give you practical advice on ventilation, dehumidifier use, or grading changes that can help prevent a repeat issue in your Wellesley Hills property.
Call +1-844-578-1604 to ask about current inspection options for your Wellesley Hills address, as availability can vary by season. Inspection availability sometimes shifts during peak humidity months when call volume runs higher across Wellesley Hills, MA.
Remediation focuses on removing the active colony and correcting the moisture source so the environment no longer supports abnormal growth. Any company promising 100% mold removal is stretching the truth, since outdoor and indoor air both naturally carry some spore count.
DIY treatment can also mask a problem temporarily, which sometimes delays proper remediation until the issue has spread further. Bleach also doesn't address whatever moisture condition allowed mold to grow in the first place, so the same spot often returns within weeks.
